The Canadian Workshop on Information Theory (CWIT) is the flagship biennial research conference of Information theory in Canada. It has taken place every even-numbered year since 1987 with the main goal to facilitate interactions between established Canadian researchers, early career researchers, and graduate students. CWIT offers graduate students an opportunity to present their work to a broader audience, learn from outstanding keynote and tutorial presenters, exercise and improve their communications skills, and build a research network. The early and established researchers benefit from the opportunity to meet their Canadian and international peers and graduate students.
