SUMMARY:Quantum Physics and Logic
DESCRIPTION:The 15th International Conference on Quantum Physics and Logic (QPL 2018) will take place at Dalhousie University in Halifax\, Canada\, from June 3–7\, 2018. \nQPL is an annual conference that brings together researchers working on mathematical foundations of quantum physics\, quantum computing\, and related areas\, with a focus on structural perspectives and the use of logical tools\, ordered algebraic and category-theoretic structures\, formal languages\, semantical methods\, and other computer science techniques applied to the study of physical behaviour in general. Work that applies structures and methods inspired by quantum theory to other fields (including computer science) is also welcome.

SUMMARY:AARMS Summer School 2018: Data Analytics
DESCRIPTION:The summer school is intended for graduate students and promising undergraduate students from all parts of the world. Each participant is expected to register for at least two of the four courses. Each course consists of three hours lecture sessions per day for two weeks. These are graduate courses approved by University of Prince Edward Island and we will facilitate transfer credit to the extent possible.

SUMMARY:Atlantic General Relativity Workshop and Conference
DESCRIPTION:The 2018 Atlantic General Relativity Conference will be held from June 6th to 7th at St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish\, Nova Scotia\, Canada. On June 5th\, there will be a one day workshop which will be aimed at the level of intermediate to advanced graduate students. The format will include ample time for discussion and collaboration. As in previous years\, the theme of Atlantic GR Conference will be all aspects of classical and quantum gravity. The format will consist of an invited talk from an invited speaker and contributed talks by anyone who wishes to speak. The time allotted to the contributed talks will be determined by the total number of speakers. \nDirectly following the Atlantic General Relativity Workshop and Conference\, StFX is also host to Theory Canada 13. \nThere will be no registration fee for either the workshop or the conference. The local organizing committee consists of Robert van den Hoogen\, Viraj Sanghai and Alan Coley; the scientific organizing committee consists of Ivan Booth\, Alan Coley\, Viqar Husain\, Hari Kunduri\, Sanjeev Seahra\, Robert van den Hoogen and Edward Wilson-Ewing. \nBoth the conference and workshop are financially supported by AARMS\, the Perimeter Institute and StFX University.

SUMMARY:Mathematical Foundations of Programming Semantics
DESCRIPTION:The 34th Conference on the Mathematical Foundations of Programming Semantics (MFPS 2018) will take place at Dalhousie University in Halifax\, Canada\, from June 6–9\, 2018. \nMFPS conferences are dedicated to the areas of mathematics\, logic\, and computer science that are related to models of computation in general\, and to semantics of programming languages in particular. This is a forum where researchers in mathematics and computer science can meet and exchange ideas. The participation of researchers in neighbouring areas is strongly encouraged.
