AARMS relies on funding from national funding agencies and Atlantic Canadian universities in order to carry on the important work of supporting mathematical research in Atlantic Canada. You too can contribute to that mission by making a donation.
The link below will take to a Dalhousie University webpage called “Giving Online“. You are in the right place. Our financial resources are hosted at Dalhousie and a donation through this page will come to AARMS. We will use the additional funds to support activities across our mandate.
How to donate:
- Go the Giving Online page;
- Make a selection for Gift Type and Direct Your Gift;
- Under Direct Your Gift, click Specify a funding area;
- In the search line, type AARMS;
- Click “NEXT“;
- Fill in your personal information and SUBMIT.
We also encourage you to let us know that you have made a donation by sending an email to the AARMS Executive Administrator at dll@cs.dal.ca. If you wish for your donation to be spent in a particular area within the AARMS mandate we will do our best to make that happen.
A tax receipt will be issued to a donor as long as no right, privilege, benefit, or advantage is given to the donor or to a person designated by the donor as outlined by the Canadian Revenue Agency (CRA). A business receipt will be issued to a corporate donor if they receive promotion as part of the gift through advertising or recognition of its name.
