Sanjeev Seahra (Director of AARMS)

Sanjeev Seahra obtained his PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Waterloo in 2003 and held NSERC and PPARC postdoctoral fellowships at the University of Portsmouth in the United Kingdom.  He is currently a Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of New Brunswick (Fredericton).  He is also an affiliate member of the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics and his research interests include general relativity, cosmology and quantum gravity.  [Contact information

Daniele Turchetti (AARMS Outreach Coordinator)

Daniele Turchetti completed his doctoral studies at the University of Versailles and the Institut de Mathématiques de Jussieu. He held positions at Leiden University, the Max-Planck-Institute for Mathematics, and the University of Caen, where he curated the first mathematical exhibition to take place in the city, animated the local mathematical circles, math festivals, and other outreach activities. He is currently pursuing his research in arithmetic geometry at Dalhousie University and his math communication interests in the framework of AARMS outreach initiatives. [Contact information]

David Langstroth (Executive Administrator)

David Langstroth has been working at Dalhousie for a number of projects since 2004, as project manager for the D-Drive lab under Jon Borwein and as Executive Administrator for AARMS since 2006.  He is also the Development and Communications Manager of Dalhousie University's Institute for Big Data Analytics.  He received his MBA from the Open University in the UK and has a background as a symphonic musician working for the BBC.  He is also a partner in Alexander Technique Atlantic.  [Contact information]
