CMS Special Session: Designs and Codes

Designs and codes are very active areas of research in combinatorics. There have been numerous breakthroughs in recent years, such as the existence proof for Steiner systems for arbitrary values of t. Research in designs, codes and their interaction includes both mathematical and algorithmic questions. Proofs encompass both constructions and probabilistic methods, and employ diverse mathematical techniques from algebra, number theory, graph theory, etc. In addition, there are numerous applications, in areas such as cryptography, in which designs and codes play an important role.

This session brings together leading and emerging researchers in the field to share their recent results, techniques, and applications.Univ
