July 30, 2018 - August 8, 2018
The CIAA conference series was started in 1996 as the Workshop on Implementation and Application of Automata, in London, Ontario, Canada, and became Conference on Implementation and Application of Automata four years later, in 2000, when was celebrated half century of automata theory during HCAT 2000, in London, Ontario, Canada. The conference brings together researchers from both computing theory and practice, and the contributions to this conference cover all practical and theoretical aspects in automata theory and related structures. Topics of interest include but is not limited to automata implementations and applications in areas like software, mathematics, programming, DNA or other bio-inspired computations, and others.
A more inclusive list is on the general CIAA Conference website (http://www.informatik.uni-giessen.de/ciaa/ciaa_welcome.html). We must emphasize that the area of the conference includes both classical and non-classical automata theory. The conference is traditionally held every year alternatively in Europe or North America.
