2017 AARMS Workshops on Scientific Computing Software

The conference was in three parts all held at Memorial University in St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada. AARMS Annual Outreach Meeting
The AARMS annual outreach meeting draws educators and researchers from across Atlantic Canada to discuss their current outreach programs, problems and challenges they face, and plans for the future. Following the presentation of each of the programs, there is an opportunity for small-group discussion on a variety of pertinent topics.

12th East Coast Combinatorics Conference
This annual conference series is convened at various universities in Atlantic Canada, and was last hosted by UNB Saint John in 2009. The ECCC provides an opportunity for researchers and students to meet, to exchange ideas and discuss topics of mutual interest. Researchers are able to network and to see what others in the region are doing. We hope to spark new collaborations through the ECCC.

Graph Searching in Canada
The Graph Searching in Canada (GRASCan) 2017 Workshop will be held August 7-8, 2017 at Grenfell Campus, Memorial University, Corner Brook, Newfoundland. The purpose of this ongoing, invitation-only workshop is to bring together graph searchers working in any and all aspects of vertex pursuit games games on graphs and their variants, such as Cops and Robbers, edge searching, firefighting, and graph cleaning.
